Good Food And Laughs
I almost don't want to post this selfishly because everyone will want to charter Sip Sip and the crew. OMG what a wonderful time me and my family had, simply amazing! Cpt. Dave, Naomi and Olivia were all so professional, helpful, courteous and a true pleasure. They were also fun and pleasant to get to know. We all loved them and will miss them until next year, that's right, we decided we're coming back. Olivia made some of the best dishes I have ever had, and I have eaten around the world .
OMG What A Wonderful Time - Simply Amazing
Our first private yacht charter so we didn't know what to expect. Boy, were we surprised. What a great crew - David Naomi and Olivia (the best chef ever!!!) I have traveled the world in different ways but never on my own boat. I have to say with the service of the crew it was the most relaxing one week vacation I have ever had. Thank you so much for your great attention to details, making us feel at home and providing a place/atmosphere where we could just relax. Simply amazing trip. We will.

The Best Water Experience To Date
I searched for a long time to find the perfect catamaran for my husband and I. We had enjoyed a catamaran charter a year before also in the BVI and loved it so much we wanted to repeat the experience. The last boat we had was so great but unavailable for this trip. I was very particular when I was hunting for the new one vessel. I wanted a nicely decorated inviting sitting area and roomy private spaces. I knew we preferred to travel alone as a couple or, if the boat was large, we would invit.
I Miss Them Already!
Here we are again....didn't tell you we would? Exactly one year later - we tracked you down. We love you all - and again - this isn't the end. We had some wind, some squalls, some swells, and we felt like priviledged kids in paradise - even though we are 60 year old kids. Naomi and Dave take such good care of us. I have forgotten how to take care of ourselves! We loved the food!! Love to you all Cynthia, Rick, Reilly, Maya and Tom .
We're Back Again
What a wonderful week you created for us on the Sip-Sip! Your professional skills, endearing personalities and heartfelt concern for your guests need more than a page to describe but here are some highlights Dave is a competent, confident and calm captain. Best Crew We've Had!
Wow, wow wow! Some of us have sailed more than others, but as a whole, this was our first extended multi-day sailing. As a group of land locked Canadians, we had very little in terms of sailing expectations. But that really didn’t matter much in the context of this review. In the end, the sailing, incredible as it was, ended up being only a small portion of the overall experiences that we enjoyed. Incredible
From the moment we first boarded we knew we were in for a treat. Dave and Naomi are warm and welcoming. Their knowledge of BVI took us to some incredible sites. Dave's Yachtmanship was evident from the start and his stories kept us captivated. The meals Naomi prepared were better than anything we have ever had at a restaurant. So many Firsts
From the very beginning Painkiller and conference about the trip, Chris and Lida were superb hosts to our family on our anniversary trip. Chris was attentive to our input on where we wanted to go in the BVIs and also made suggestions that were special and not stops we had otherwise considered. Lida was amazing in her delivery of three extraordinary and different meals every day along with beautiful tasty appetizers each late afternoon before amazing dinners. Our family had the trip of a lifetime on Sip Sip this past June. We arrived by dingy to rum punches on the stern, served with a smile by Lida. Our luggage was immediately whisked away. Captain Chris took us all on a tour of the boat. The boat has a sleek and modern vibe that makes it feel like a floating, spa oasis. We slept in a queen cabin and it was the most comfortable charter bed I’ve ever slept on. The bathrooms are enormous and there is plenty of storage for a weeks worth of clothes an.

The cruise was really top-notch: the boat was very well maintained, spotless, and you couldn't tell it was old enough. As for the crew, as you said, they were fantastic. They're lovely, very professional, very keen to do well and make sure everyone has a good time. We will be. Delighted to see them again if we return to the region!.

We had high hopes that this trip would be a great experience - and honestly the trip exceeded anything we could have imagined. The boat was immaculate and very comfortable, and the crew quickly felt like dear friends (shout out to Chris and Lida - twenty somethings from S. Africa who were fun and energetic - providing some of the best meals we've ever had, were engaging and so attentive to whatever we wanted to try and do, and took us to many great locations throughout the Virgin Islands). Harry’s journey to the British Virgin Islands was the culmination of a decade of adventure across mountains and oceans worldwide. A lifelong sailor, he competed internationally in dinghy and keelboat classes and began teaching and coaching at just 14. Beyond the water, he spent two winters in the Canadian ski industry—first operating lifts in Lake Louise, then patrolling the slopes in northern British Columbia.
He went on to manage a sailing club in Abu Dhabi, before studying at university, where he also developed a passion for marine photography and met Martha. Since then, Harry has worked extensively in the charter industry, delivered yachts across the Atlantic, and sailed in waters ranging from the Mediterranean to Southeast Asia. Now based in the BVI, he skippers Sip Sip, and volunteers with VISAR.
Martha grew up in Devon, where her love of cooking, skiing, and life on (and under) the water began. After crossing the Atlantic, working ski seasons in the Alps, and leading diving trips with sharks, she pursued a professional career as a chef. Her love for cooking truly began when she started working in an award-winning floating restaurant under the guidance of a former yacht chef and used the skills she learned there to pursue a career as a chef. This began in the mountains and later transitioned to yachts. Martha discovered that being a yacht chef allows her to flourish in this varied and fulfilling environment where her creativity can expand under the autonomy that this work affords her, as well as, the challenge to accommodate guest’s differing requests and dietary requirement. Every day is different and it combines her love of food with her passion for adventure.
Martha’s style focuses on fresh, vibrant dishes, and she has extensive experience creating menus that cater to diverse dietary needs, particularly vegetarian and vegan. Beyond the galley, she enjoys every aspect of yacht life—whether sailing, exploring, or welcoming guests aboard.
