Remember your travel documents (valid and up-to-date passport).
Bring your scuba certification card if you are a certified scuba diver and plan to dive.
It is advisable to pack soft luggage or duffle bags, as these are easier to store on the boat. We suggest that you carry a toothbrush, swimsuit and any vital medications in your carry-on luggage; if your luggage does not arrive on your flight, you will be able to continue your vacation whilst the airline traces it.
Clothing on the islands is casual. Pack swimwear (2-3), a few pairs of shorts (3) or skirts and T-shirts/tank tops (5), a sundress for the ladies (1), or a button-down shirt (1) and dress shorts (1) for the men. In the winter months (Dec-March), pack one lightweight sweater and a pair of long pants as it can be cool on the water at night.
Street shoes are not worn onboard. If you want to wear shoes on the boat, please bring one pair of clean, non-marking boat shoes that will only be worn onboard. Water shoes or flip-flops (1) are recommended for beach excursions. A pair of trainers is optional if you are interested in hiking.
The Caribbean water temperature is usually between 78-83 degrees Fahrenheit. We suggest bringing a rash guard to provide sun protection and warmth during long snorkels. The Caribbean sun is fierce and commands respect. Mega-factor sunscreens are a must.
Bring a good pair of sunglasses and a sunhat or visor.
Yachts do have first aid kits on board. However, please ensure you bring any medication with you that you would normally have or use at home. Motion sickness is very uncommon on catamarans because they are very stable. Bring motion sickness tablets, sea bands, or ear patches if you are prone to motion sickness.
Most yachts provide toiletries, like shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash.
Most yachts boat provides low-wattage hairdryers. Due to electrical constrictions, yachts prefer you use these instead of bringing yours from home.
Don’t forget your camera and underwater camera. Bring your chargers for your devices.
Most boats are equipped with Wi-Fi although it is much slower in the Caribbean/Bahamas.
You should have phone reception throughout the trip. Depending on your cell phone plan, it is advisable to contact your provider to find out what your cell coverage/rates will be in the Caribbean/Bahamas.
Most boats have a variety of movies onboard, but it is advisable to download a few of your favorite movies or videos you plan on watching during the week, due to Wi-Fi speed in the Caribbean/Bahamas.
Most boats have a large music library, and you can connect with a cable or via Bluetooth to the wireless music player. You can connect with most devices that are Bluetooth-compatible. Please ensure that you download your music at home as streaming might be slow.
Most boats have board games and playing cards on board but do not hesitate to bring your favorites.
