We came into this trip very excited and with high expectations - and they were all exceeded and then some! The BVI delivered with stunning scenery, wonderful weather, and friendly people. But the real "X-Factor" are Rubrio and Liza. You will not find more competent or caring hosts on a boat! They made this the trip of a lifetime. Liza's meals were amazing, and dining on the fly bridge was a favorite. Rubrio made sure we had the best anchorages and the most fun possible. We are sad to leave but.

From the moment we stepped aboard Rubrio and Liza made us feel welcomed and at home. I had an amazing once-in-a-lifetime trip with Sam as captain and diving instructor, and Zina as chef extraordinaire. The food was absolutely amazing. Sam & Zina were absolutely wonderful hosts! It was our first-time charting for a week and could not have picked a crew who fit us better. Sam is a focused and safe Captain who clearly knows his boat (and, how to make fantastic cocktails). Zina is an amazing Chef whose food combinations will blow your mind. Both Sam and Zina made us all feel at home right away, we were comfortable upon first setting our bare feet on their boat. There are many boats and many crews, but only one Sam and Zina...Cham.

Can’t imagine a week in the BVIs being any better. The Respite at Sea was a perfect vessel for 3 couples to explore in. It’s a relatively new boat with all the “bells and whistles “. It has 3 nice bedrooms, each with bathrooms. The crew, Sam and Zina, are exceptionally accommodating and take care of every detail. Doesn’t hurt that Zina is also a world class chef. Most importantly, these two are great people who are lot of fun to be around for a week at sea!.

Sam and Zina made our first experience living on the water truly amazing. Our family of four took a seven day Christmas Grenadines islands cruise on the JimJams catamaran with Captain Sam and crew Zina. It was a truly wonderful experience! While the boat is very luxurious and well appointed, the real treat is the service provided by Sam and Zina. First the food: prior to our cruise we were asked about our food and beverage preferences, which we provided by email. My name is Jennifer Blotti and I live with my family in Switzerland. I enjoy traveling a lot and I work as a family travel blogger since many years. After several sailing vacation experiences, in August 2019 we were lucky to meet Daniella and Ross who took us on a catamaran to the Cyclades Islands in Greece. I’ve had the pleasure of having some outstanding Captains and First Mates in the past, but Ross and Dee completely step changed any experience we ever had. Rosco the salty sea dog was an absolute legend! Great wind awareness and sailing skills, he took the time to teach us a lot throughout the week. Chef/Dive MasterTilly was born in a landlocked English town and owes her love of the ocean to her surf-mad dad. As she grew up her passion for the ocean was matched only by her love of food and different cuisines from around the world that she now enjoys sharing with guests. After studying her degree in marine biology and a brief stint in a luxury ski chalet in France, Tilly moved to Scotland to pursue her career as a biologist. Here she found a love of growing food and championing local produce which she loves to incorporate as often as possible. Although she worked on boats her first real sailing experience was crossing the Atlantic Ocean and she hasn't looked back since.
Kyle and Tilly met on a small island off the west coast of Scotland back in 2018 while they were both farming Scottish salmon, Tilly as the on-site biologist and Kyle as the site supervisor. They quickly realised they shared the same passion for adventure and the ocean and spent two years working and exploring the Highlands and Islands. After an especially cold and wet winter they jumped on a boat and sailed across the Atlantic towards the sunshine.
Kyle and Tilly have been chartering together in the British Virgin Islands for over a year and love to create the perfect vacation experience for everyone that steps onboard. Tilly was born in a landlocked English town and owes her love of the ocean to her surf-mad dad. As she grew up her passion for the ocean was matched only by her love of food and different cuisines from around the world that she now enjoys sharing with guests. After studying her degree in marine biology and a brief stint in a luxury ski chalet in France, Tilly moved to Scotland to pursue her career as a biologist. Here she found a love of growing food and championing local produce which she loves to incorporate as often as possible. Although she worked on boats her first real sailing experience was crossing the Atlantic Ocean and she hasn't looked back since.
Kyle and Tilly met on a small island off the west coast of Scotland back in 2018 while they were both farming Scottish salmon, Tilly as the on-site biologist and Kyle as the site supervisor. They quickly realised they shared the same passion for adventure and the ocean and spent two years working and exploring the Highlands and Islands. After an especially cold and wet winter they jumped on a boat and sailed across the Atlantic towards the sunshine.
Kyle and Tilly have been chartering together in the British Virgin Islands for over a year and love to create the perfect vacation experience for everyone that steps onboard. Whether your dream trip is anchoring in remote bays, diving breathtaking reefs, enjoying bespoke cocktails at world famous bars or anywhere in between, Kyle and Tilly have got you covered.
