Wow! From start to finish, this was truly a dream vacation! Once we embarked on “Windward” we were met by our captain and chef. What a lovely trip and best vacation ever. We will never be the same again. Seeing Will underwater like a fish took our breath away. We can confidently say that we have never laughed so consistently over the course of 7 days. Will was the perfect cruise director, but Kylie won our hearts 4 times a day. I can’t recall what it feels like to be hungry. Your bagel on a boat board, bao buns, bacon and banh mi on a beach were just the razzle dazzle on top of a truly remarkable culinary experience. .

This was a trip to “paradise” for us. We loved every minute of the cruise. From sailing, to great places to drop anchor. The food offerings were amazing an Kylie – we loved your cooking and the welcoming table set ups! Will – you made amazing painkillers. Tracy is an amazing cook, the food was excellent! We were blown away with every meal! Jon and Tracy were very laid back and read the room well- when to let us have family time or to join in with discussions and activities. Our family of 3 couples from Kansas City, MO and Memphis, TN, in the US spent a week in March 203 on Windward with Jon and Tracy. Our priorities when looking for a boat were in this order. 1-Crew 2-Boat layout and amenities 3-Food/drinks and 4-Destination Jon and Tracy were extremely attentive to our group throughout. Jon & Tracy, Thank you, thank you, thank you. From the moment we stepped on the boat, you outdid yourselves. We all came in not sure what to expect. Some of us thought we would be getting turkey, or even PB&J sandwiches for lunch. Each and every meal blew us away! We were saddend that we planned to go off the boat at all to eat. And while your suggestions on those places were wonderful, the meals and services (especially Jon’s A+ dish washing that he so enjoys) never were as good as on the bo.

Spent the last 8 days with the wonderful crew of the Oceana touring the nooks and crannies of the BVI. Tracy is a wizard in the kitchen, presenting amazing meals every day. From start to finish this trip was AMAZING! Captain Jon did an excellent job of picking just the right spots for us to enjoy the good life. This was our first trip to the BVI and our first time sailing. This experience was out of this world! John and Tracy were absolutely amazing. John took the time to teach us all about sailing. Tracy made the most amazing meals, and delicious drinks. They were so kind to us and showed us the most gorgeous spots all around the islands. To put it simply, I did not want this trip to end! The BVI is one of the best places on earth and this charter reconfirmed that feeling for me. The Oceana is a fabulous vessel and it was amazing to be part of the group to be it’s first quests. Tracy and Jon, thank you for creating an easy going and relaxing experience. It was a distinct pleasure to be one of the first charters on this fantastic boat! Great to enjoy all its fantastic toys from the swim platform, the drone, and jet pods. The boat really makes you feel at home. Now the best part and the most enjoyable is the crew!! Tracy and Jon are wonderful, gracious hosts. William was born and raised in Bermuda. He started sailing at a young age whilst also enjoying rugby, swimming, cliff jumping and wakeboarding. William began as a Dinghy Instructor who taught sailing for five years during the Summer seasons in Bermuda, coaching students from 4 to 60 years old on a range of dinghy sizes.
When William went to the University of Sussex in the UK, he studied for a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Management. He also obtained a Sports Scholarship for sailing at university whilst he trained and raced on a high-performance sailing boat called “49er”.
He is a keen sportsman and has represented Bermuda at the Junior level Rugby competitions on multiple occasions. He has also represented Bermuda in the SSL Gold Cup where he raced top sailors from around the world.
He has crossed the Atlantic twice, the Mediterranean once, and has worked as a Watch Leader which holds high responsibility for the vessel and the crew throughout the ocean passages.
Since graduating from university three years ago, William has been living on sailboats, building a strong offshore sailing background with a huge sense of / AR D adventure. William is sociable, funny, professional, and passionate about sailing, and is always eager to share what he knows about yachting.

Matea’s culinary journey began in the heart of her home in Croatia, where cooking and sharing meals with loved ones sparked an early passion for food. Inspired by her mother’s recipes, she took to the culinary arts on her own and developed a creative flair by adding unique twists to her mother’s dishes. This early love for cooking set the foundation for her career.
Matea also developed an interest in health and fitness, prompting her to pursue a degree of Bachelor of Nutrition Science in Australia. That academic journey expanded her understanding of the intricate relationship between nutrition and culinary arts, fueling her passion even further. After completing her degree, she realized that her passion for cooking and food was something that could be pursued on the water. Her lifelong connection to the ocean influenced her decision to become a yacht chef back in her home country of Croatia.
Her dedication to cooking remains constant and ever-growing. Matea takes great pride in preparing meals with love and quality, ensuring that friends, family, and guests enjoy their dining experience and can appreciate food as much as she does. She especially cherishes the opportunity to share her love for food with others, bringing them together and creating memorable moments with the combined allure of her culinary creations and the ocean’s beauty.
