BIG THANKS to Capt. AJ Stephens. Our family had such an incredible and memorable time. AJ made the trip easy, relaxing, exciting, interesting, filling, fun and so much more. It all began before even arriving in the USVIs via a WhatsApp video call, talk through preferences and nail down logistics. My wife and I traveled with our 6 kids (all in their 20s), and the entire week was perfect. AJ wanted everything to be perfect and kept asking how to improve things but I had nothing to say: it was alre.
A Memorable Time!
This trip was incredibly memorable thanks to AJ. We were in expert hands as AJ guided us thru the BVI’s and made sure we experienced an amazing itinerary custom planned based on our preferences. Everything from the actual time underway, whether sailing or motor, and then activities at each destination, was perfect and well executed. We were a group of 8, including 6 young adults, so there were all different wants and needs and AJ made sure everyone was happy. Truly, a wonderful experience. Th.
Incredibly Memorable
Wonderful experience! AJ was brilliant in his captaining, planning, and guidance throughout our time. We saw so many incredible nooks and crannies of the islands we would never have otherwise, and he recommended some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever seen. Loved his evening cocktails as well! AJ is a wonderful person, wouldn’t have wanted to spend our time with anyone else..
Wonderful Experience!
Just returned from the BVI. We were on board with Capt. AJ. The boat had everything we needed and more. AJ took us to the most beautiful places on earth. Incredible snorkeling and views. Everything was planed and we did not have to think of anything that he had already not thought of. He prepared a signature cocktail every night at 5:00. They were truly better than any of the drinks at the local bars. We even got to name one of his drinks! He can tell you that story🤪. . AJ kept us safe a.
Lots of Laughs and Most Relaxing Trip Of Our Lives
We just returned from an amazing trip in the BVI. I have done this trip before, so I thought I knew what to expect. But Captain AJ far exceeded our expectations, and my previous experience. AJ was very accommodating, no matter how many times we changed our minds about what we wanted to do for the day. He found us amazing snorkeling and dive sites, restaurants and bars, and his quick wit and sense of humor kept us entertained. AJ set the bar high, and I hope we can find him again to share.

With a lifelong passion for the sea, Captain AJ brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to sailing the beautiful waters of the British Virgin Islands. Growing up windsurfing on the English South Coast, AJ developed a deep appreciation for the ocean and its challenges.
AJ honed his sailing skills from a young age through competitive dinghy racing; Laser 4000, RS 500, RS800 competing in races on the River Thames in London and inter-club events on the UK south coast. This experience instilled a strong sense of teamwork, strategy, and the ability to handle demanding conditions.
Beyond sailing, AJ has a diverse background in water sports. As a certified Padi Dive Master, he has explored underwater worlds in Australia, Indonesia, Thailand Egypt, and the Mediterranean. This experience provides a unique perspective on the marine environment and ensures the utmost respect for the ocean’s delicate ecosystems.
With extensive experience in yacht chartering and a recent season in Croatia, AJ is adept at navigating various waters and weather effects providing exceptional sailing experiences. His RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification demonstrates his commitment to safety and professionalism.
When not sailing, Captain AJ enjoys exploring his other passions, including kitesurfing, wakeboarding, cycling, mountain biking, skiing, food, and photography. This diverse range of interests contributes to a vibrant and engaging personality, making him a fantastic companion for your charter adventure.
