My family and I sailed on Okeana 7/19-7/24.

I wanted to write and say what a wonderful time we had and how amazing our crew was - captain Dal and first mate Ana.

The sailing and sights were awesome with Dal providing interesting information and guidance along the way. Meanwhile Ana kept us fed with incredible food !

An Amazing Time

Our family had the trip of a lifetime aboard the Okeana in June 2026. Captain Dal and Chef Anna were critical to the joyous experience. Together they planned an ideal itinerary and menu. 

Captain Dal is fun, kind, calm, capable, flexible and assertive all at the same time. We never had an issue with the catamaran or the smoothness of the sail. He attended to any minor issue immediately and effectively. He also was a fabulous bartender! We would love to have him as our .

Wonderful Week

I just returned from a week-long BVI charter with a group of seven friends on "Okeana" with Captain Dal Flynn and Chef Anna Vann. I just wanted to give credit to our wonderful crew. Both Dal and Anna were top notch and the best overall team I have had the pleasure of sailing with in the four charters I have booked.

From the moment we stepped aboard Okeana, our expectations were exceeded. The yacht made an amazing first impression, and everything that followed lived up to it.

The accommodations were exactly what we were looking for—cozy, comfortable cabins and well-appointed bathrooms. The deck, salon, and cockpit offered plenty of lounging space, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the views. The yacht was kept impeccably clean throughout the charter, and we never found ourselves missing a thin.

Expectations were exceeded!

This was our 5th BVI trip and by far the best experience!

Great captain who catered to all our needs. He knew his boat well! We saw new sights we had never seen before - just blew us away!!!

5th BVI Trip - By Far The Best Experience

Eden is truly the most incredible hostess. Eden's meals were unreal - Michelin star level if we're qualified to say that! The yacht truly felt like home - clean, tidy and a place for everyone to have their own space or be all together. Could not have asked for a better experience exploring the BVI.

Their attentiveness to our needs was exceptional, striking a balance between being available when needed and allowing us our own space to enjoy our time on the boat.

The food Eden prepared for us was excellent in both presentation and taste, and her cocktails were the perfect complement to the beautiful surroundings. Each meal was a delightful experience that added to the overall enjoyment of our trip.

Their professionalism, hospitality, and expertise made our sailing adventure .

Every meal was truly awesome and Eden really catered to my disdain of seafood.

The crew fitted right into our merry crew and joined in our antics. We learned new words and had a blast! The DRINK OF THE DAY always packed a punch.

We all sit here looking for tissues on our last morning and planning our next BVI trip!!

Booking Our Next Trip

This was a fantastic vacation! Jane and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our daughter, her husband, and our two granddaughters. Captain Dal and Mate JJ made this a memorable time. Dal knew all about the islands and he did a wonderful job of not only being our Captain, but our tour guide as well. JJ used our Preference Sheets to prepare meals that were "over the top". The weather was good, the islands were great, and the boat and crew fit us perfectly. Okeana was just right for o.

Fantastic Vacation!

Our family of 5 and my sister in law spent a week sailing in the BVI on the “Okeana” in July 2021. Our captain was Raphael (“Raph”) Marshall-Naef, and our chef was Isabel Sollberg. Everything about the trip was perfect. Raph is a great captain with lots of experience sailing in the BVI, and he took us to all of the best snorkeling spots and fun locations like Soggy Dollar and Willy T’s. Isabel’s cooking was amazing. Best of all, Raph and Isabel are two of the nicest and most fun p.

We spent an amazing week sailing the islands of the BVIs on a 49 foot catamaran, the Okeana! She is a beautiful yacht with a great open design. The best part of the Okeana is the crew. The Skipper, Raph is knowledgeable of the waters and attractions, super competent and confident. He made sure we had a safe, fun and relaxing adventure.
