Just perfect!
Truly hard to pick a favorite given the ground we covered in Paradise. Snorkeling at Anegada and exploring the Baths standout. It was the beautiful scenery and family time which will always be remembered. We had heard great things about this trip, But Brandon and Alessia exceeded our expectations in every way. They make you feel so relaxed; attend to your every need; prepare perfect meals; and plan the perfect itinerary. We cannot say enough about those two. They made it our favorite vacation ev.

Jet skiing, snorkeling the Indians and Buck Island, catching fish and seeing a nurse shark, inflatable rides, jumping off Willy T’s and the back of the boat, star filled nights and delicious dinners with lots of wine were the highlights of our trip!!!! Brandon and Alessia made the trip personal and special. From the home cooked meals to dives and our endless questions. They made it fun, adventurous and an overall wonderful vacation for our two families. This was the perfect break from reality.

So Many Favorites
Our favorites in no particular order were The Baths, snorkeling with a barracuda for 45 min, snorkeling in the many various locations seeing stingrays and identifying different fish, being served marvelous tropical drinks and BEAUTIFUL meals…… and the bean bags when under sail. Just perfect.

Wonderful Vacation
This was the most relaxing trip we have ever been on. Brandon and Alessia are simply exceptional and their hospitality, incredible service and ability to create the best “Pura Vida” is amazing. Snorkeling around the carious reefs with the white sand, watching for tarpon at night. Endless food and drink – Loved it!!!.

On February 23 my two brothers and their wives and myself took off on a trip of a lifetime! Our Captain Andre and his wife/ chef Magda were amazing. They took great care to make sure we had a trip to remember FOREVER. We had such a great time and the sites were unbelievable. The food was beyond what I ever could have imagined. The crew made us feel welcome from the first moment we met them until we had to say our sad goodbyes. They really went above and beyond to make sure that we saw as much .

What an incredible charter. We’ve done this before but can say this has been THE BEST charter / holiday to date. Isaac and Bri were AMAZING! We had the one of the most enjoyable weeks of our lives! Capt. Isaac and Briana led us throughout the beautiful islands of The Grenadines. We had great adventures while fishing, freediving and exploring islands such as Mustique, Petit Saint Vincent, Tobago Keys, Bequia and Canouan. The food was also so special, with several highlights such as fresh mahi ceviche and sashimi! And the boat was perfect: VERY new, impeccable, fully functional. Grenadines at Pura Vida 48’ Cat
Dream vacation. Island hopping and cruising to hidden gems in st barths, st marten and Anguilla. Every day included gourmet prepared meals and snacks on boat, while activities included snorkeling, cliff jumping, boat jumping, hiking, paddle boarding, etc. Accomodations were very comfortable and Captain Isaac and Briana were amazing people and total professionals. Best of all was how great they were with our kids.

Jamie grew up just outside landlocked London although this didn’t stop him from finding his way to the water. He started racing dinghies at eight years old and turned his hobby into a job at thirteen as a sailing instructor throughout his youth. Whilst at university studying mechanical engineering he progressed to a Commercially Endorsed Yachtmaster and spent the summers skippering throughout the Mediterranean.
After a year of office life working in the tech sector Jamie chose to swap the desk for the waves and became a full time yacht crew member. Captaining SY Solitaire a 75ft sloop on charter for a season, multiple stints on superyachts and ocean crossings and term charters on sailing catamarans in both the Med and the Virgin islands.
He has amassed in excess of 15000 miles at sea. He is also a keen skier and enjoys anything out on the water or outdoors.
Born in Colorado and raised in Texas, Jessa has always had a passion for being in nature. While she grew up in the city, her family took vacations to the beach and mountains every year and these holidays are what fueled her love for the great outdoors. After she got her degree in Psychology at Texas State University, she worked in the corporate world for a few years in Human Resources until making the radical decision to leave the hustle and bustle of a big city in order to pursue the spontaneous lifestyle of living on the ocean. In 2017 she began her career in Croatia as a Professional Yacht Chef. Since then, she has had the privilege of exploring and working in many places all over the world including Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and many of the Caribbean islands.
The Virgin Islands quickly became one of her favorite places after sailing and working there at the end of 2018. She knew instantly that she wanted to make the Caribbean her home.
She enjoys traveling, hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, exercising, and most importantly, curating unique and delicious meals for her loved ones and for her guests.
In addition to Jessa’s many hobbies and extensive experience in the industry, she has completed multiple certifications in the last couple of years that have helped her evolve personally and professionally. She has her 100 Ton United States Coast Guard Captains License, her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate, and her Level 2 Certification in Culinary Arts.
She believes that cooking is all about sharing and being able to share unique and tasty dishes with the guests is so important to her!
One of her favorite parts about traveling is being able to experience new cultures and cuisines and incorporating these cuisines into her own menu. Seafood is a personal favorite of Jessa’s, to cook and to eat! Jessa finds it very special to be able to use the local seafood for her dishes. On board Pura Vida, Jessa will ensure that your vacation is filled with wholesome, fresh, and local meals. She has experience working with all dietary restrictions and food allergies and will work with you and your group to create the perfect menu for your week.
