As a former charter chef, I greatly appreciate the hard work that goes into delivering exquisite meals over and over on a 7-night, 8-day charter.  The thought and planning of a menu starts weeks before the charter clients arrive for their charter.  The broker sends out a preference sheet to the clients, and they list all their food allergies, likes, and dislikes.  The chef will study it in detail and design a menu incorporating everyone’s preferences.  The charter chefs are trained to accommodate all preferences, like pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan, nut allergies, celiac, lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance, low-carb, high protein, etc.  The chef will select, shop, and source all the ingredients carefully for all the food preferences.  The preparation and execution of the dishes are genuine masterpieces!  The comment on our yacht was always that they ate healthier on board than at home.  Please don’t get me wrong; this does not mean fruit and veggies all day; there is the indulgence in pastries, desserts, and treats that will stay with you for a long time. (on the hips for sure, but also wanting you to return for more).  I raise a glass to the incredible charter chefs out there, the backbone of the charters.  You, ladies and gentlemen, rock!
