Sailing Yachts

Whether you want to take a turn at the helm or relax while the crew sails the yacht, you will have the most relaxing vacation feeling close to nature. Sailing yachts do not have the stability of catamarans, but it has all the comforts you will need with all the pampering of a crewed yacht charter vacation.
Motor Yachts
Luxury motor yachts are spacious, fast and luxurious. It usually offers a bigger selection of toys and amenities. Consider the fuel consumption as it is usually an extra expense.
Your charter broker is an industry specialist and guides you to plan every detail of your luxury yacht charter experience. The price for a charter broker service is included in the price of your charter; yachts do not offer lower prices if booked without a broker. Your broker has access to a vast database of entire fleets of yachts in the area you are looking to charter; they have first-hand experience of the charter area, have worked as crew on similar yachts and understand the qualities of the yacht, the crew and the service you desire. They will be able to give you unbiased advice and take care of all the legalities and paperwork. Your funds will be held in a secure escrow account for your protection and will not immediately be released to the owner or crew of the yacht, but according to the different timeframes in your charter agreement. Your charter yacht broker is your trusted agent who is looking after your interest to ensure your charter runs smoothly and meets all your expectations.
All additional expenses, notably fuel, food and beverages, any docking, applicable taxes, and a customary crew gratuity at your discretion. The expenses are paid in advance (APA – Advanced Provisioning Allowance) and are typically 25-35 % on top of the base charter rate.
When you contact us, tell us your specific dates, the destination, the number of guests in your party and the estimated budget. We will search our database and prepare a proposal with online detailed brochures for the available yachts.
Once you have decided on a yacht, we will put a 2-week complimentary hold on the yacht’s calendar. We will send an approved industry-standard charter agreement with the payment terms for you to sign. You will send the relevant deposit for your charter. A 25 % deposit is due if your charter is booked more than 6 months in advance, then another 25 % deposit 6 months before the charter. The final balance is due 60 days before the charter. A 50 % deposit is due if your charter is booked less than 6 Once we have your signed agreement and deposit funds in hand, we will confirm your charter. All funds will be safely held in an Escrow Account. Charter fees are payable by ACH (direct deposit), wire transfer or US check. You can start looking forward to your luxury yacht charter vacation!
We will send you a preference sheet for food, drinks, and activities to be filled in. We will advise you on flights (we recommend that you do not confirm any flights until your charter is confirmed) and accommodation suggestions if you plan on staying on the island before or after your charter.
We will finalize every detail before your charter; we will check in during your charter and gather feedback after your charter. We are here, every step of the way!
The Caribbean has great water temperatures throughout the year. The yachts have air conditioning, so you will always sleep comfortably.
The Mediterranean season is from April through the end of October. Water temperatures in April and October are cooler, but still comfortable for swimming.
British Virgin Islands:
Option 1: Fly directly to Beef Island, the main airport in the BVI (airport code: EIS). There are daily flights from Puerto Rico (airport code: SJU) with Seaborne Airline and Cape Air Airline. The BVI is just under three hours from Miami and four hours from New York.
Option 2: Take a flight to St Thomas (airport code: STT) and a 45-minute commercial ferry ride to the BVI. We could also arrange a private water taxi.
US Virgin Islands:
Fly directly to St Thomas (airport code: STT). There are daily direct flights from the mainland USA to the island. St Thomas is just under three hours from Miami and four hours from New York.
St Maarten:
Fly directly to St Maarten (airport code: SXM). There is also a small airport on the French side of St Martin (airport code: CCE). St Maarten is just under three hours from Miami and four hours from New York.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines:
The best way to get to Saint Vincent is to fly to Barbados (airport code: BGI) and then to St Vincent (airport code: SVD) or take a paddle jumper to the island of Bequia or Canouan. Another option is to fly into the island of Grenada (airport code: GND) and a paddle jumper from there. Your yacht could also pick you up on one island and drop you off at a different island. We will discuss all the options with you. Barbados and Grenada are just under four hours from Miami, and just under five hours from New York.
Bahamas:
Fly directly into Nassau (airport code: NAS) if your charter starts from there or you might want to fly to the Staniel Cay in the Exumas (airport code: TYM) directly from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) with Makers Air to start your charter in the Exumas. The Bahamas is under an hour’s flight from Fort Lauderdale. Your yacht could also pick you up on one island and drop you off at a different island. We will discuss all the options with you.
Your professional charter chef is experienced in accommodating dietary restrictions and food allergies. Your chef will prepare a menu with your likes and your favorite foods. We will send you a Preference Sheet to complete. You can choose your type of cuisine, indicate your dislikes, and communicate your specific preferences.
